Olufemi Emmanuel bagged his B.A Theology (Christian Education) and M.A Theology (Biblical Studies in Old Testament) degrees in West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS) Lagos in 2005 and 2009 respectively. In 2016 he obtained his PhD (Old Testament Studies) from Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary (CGTS) Abeokuta. He has been involved in pastoral ministry for 22 years; he is a founding pastor of Christ Fragrance Church and a co-founder of Brook of Honyx Schools, Lagos. His area of interest is Old Testament studies, Biblical Hermeneutics and Theological Research. He is married to Maryjoan Emmanuel who also is a teacher and preacher of the Gospel and they are both blessed with wonderful children.
Mrs. Modupe Adenuga, is currently the Academic Registrar of the institution. She holds a B.Ed (Guidance and Counseling/Religious Studies) from the University of Ibadan and M.Ed (Educational Psychology) from the University of Lagos. Her research topic was on “Dimensional issues affecting adolescence sexuality and sexuality education”. An educationist and administrator, her major interest is School Curriculum and Counseling. She is married to Prof. Olumide Adenuga, Building Department, University of Lagos and they are blessed with children.
Mrs. S. Toyin Adeniyi (B.A., M.A., PGDE, M.Phil.)teaches English and General Studies in the Christian Education Department of West Africa Theological Seminary. She also teaches educational courses such as Church Ministry in Education. Mrs. Adeniyi obtained her first degree in English Language from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. She holds M.A. and M.Phil. in the same discipline from University of Lagos and OAU respectively. She also received a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Teacher’s Institute, Kaduna. She is currently running her Ph.D. in English Language at OAU.
Her areas of expertise are Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Discourse Analysis and Discourse Grammar. She is interested in researching on the language of the English Bible and administration. In her M.Phil. thesis, she used Discourse Grammatical Model to analyse the Book of Exodus of New International Version of the English Bible.
She is an Evangelist and the Coordinator of Child Evangelical Unit (CEU) in the Gospel Faith Mission International, Abesan, Lagos. Mrs. Adeniyi is married to Evangelist George Adeniyi, and the marriage is blessed with children.
Nnaoma Kanu holds an Italian National Diploma in Industrial Mechanical Technology and BA in Theology (WATS). His interest is in Biblical Studies and particularly in the application of biblical truths and principles to situations and issues within diverse and uniquely African settings.
Pastor Dele Akindayo is the Missions Coordinator & HOD, Practical Theology department at West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS), Ipaja, Lagos.
He obtained B.A. English Studies from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; Diploma in Theology from Christ Evangelical Missions, Ogun State; and M.A. Intercultural Studies from West Africa Theological Seminary, Lagos. He’s currently a PhD candidate in Church History with emphasis on Missions at Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta. He has several certificates from various training programmes he attended with Reinhard Bonnke Ministries, Morris Cerullo Ministries, Daystar Leadership Academy, Reach the Children of the World, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, among others.
He’s also the founding Senior Pastor of Inheritors Christ Mission Intl (ICMI) with churches in Ogun state. He’s the Chairman of Green Pastures Private Montessori School and Integritas College both Christian mission schools.
He is privileged to have ministered across Africa and the United States of America. He’s also the founding Chairman, Greatness Initiative for All-round Noble Transformation (GIANT), a nation-building advocacy group.
His earlier journalism and print and publishing and human resources management experience in various media houses culminated with the position of Manager, Admin & Personnel, Daily Times of Nigeria Plc. He thereafter founded Dayspring Mediacom, a multimedia company.
His areas of interest include missions (evangelism, church planting); Islam; church and New Testament history; African Indigenous Churches (AIC); and African Traditional Religion (ATR).
He is married to Dr Nike Akindayo and they are blessed with children.
