Dean, Spiritual Formation & Practical Ministry

Moye Timothy Olajide (Diploma, B.A.in Theology, M.Div., and D.Min in progress) is a lecturer of Missions and Urban Ministries in the Missions Department of West Africa Theological Seminary.  He also teaches other church related courses such as Church Planting & Growth as well as Church Ministry in Education. He is currently the Dean for Spiritual Formation and Practical Ministries of WATS and has in time past served in different capacities in the same institution as External Relations Officer, Protocol Officer, Director of Urban & Holistic Ministries, and Head of Personnel. He presently serves as an active member of the Executive Board and Academic Board of the Seminary. Moye Olajide obtained his Diploma in Theology from Wesley International Bible College in Owerri, Imo State. He bagged his Bachelor of Arts in Theology at Wesley International Theological Seminary, Owerri, Imo State. His Master of Divinity degree from West Africa Theological Seminary, Lagos State, Nigeria. He is currently undergoing his Doctor of Ministry program of studies at West Africa Theological Seminary, Ipaja, Lagos State.

His areas of expertise are Missions, Church Growth and Urban Ministries. In his Doctor of Ministries Dissertation, he is looking at the topic “The Local Church as Agent of Societal Transformation” with the purpose of influences the churches in Nigeria and beyond to get involved in Transformational ministries that is focused on bringing transformation to the society.  

He is a Pastor & Missionary with Glory Christian Ministries and has served in different capacities as the Missions Director as well as the Head of Administration of the Church respectively. Moye Olajide is married to Anthonia Moye and are blessed with five children.
