Doctor of Ministry Degree
Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program is professionally-oriented and focused on equipping leaders and practitioners with qualities, insights, and competencies in leadership, organizations and humans living.
Masters Degree
Our Master’s programs include the Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS), Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies (MAIS), Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE), and the Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (MACL, for episcopal-level leadership only).
Undergraduate Degree
WATS offers Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theology and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Religion that is jointly awarded with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. These are arranged under five departments; Biblical Studies, Pastoral Studies, Missions Studies, Christian Education, and Religion (UNN).

West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS) has been providing quality theological education in Nigeria and West Africa since 1989. Over the past thirty-two years, we have graduated well over 2,000 students, from a wide spectrum of literally hundreds of African churches, scores of ethnic groups, and more than twenty nationalities. Today the future of WATS remains very bright. We are more committed than ever to provide world-class leadership education that focuses on academic excellence, spiritual and leadership formation, and context-relevant instruction.
