PROFESSOR GARY STEWART MAXEY was born on 24 March 1948, married 23 August 1968, to Dr. Mrs. Emma Lou Maxey and their union blessed with Four children and eleven grandchildren. He has been in Nigeria since March 1982. He was Founder and Principal of Calvary College of Theology, Port Harcourt, 1982-1989, Founder of West Africa Theological Seminary (Lagos), in 1989 (Provost for 18 years), Founder and head pastor of New Beginnings International Church, Lagos, 2010 – 2021, Co-chair of Providence International University consortium, 2020 – present. Pastor of Imala International Church, 2022 – present, and an author of thirty-three books.
