Rev. Okugbe Kingsley George, FSS; is currently a full-time Lecturer and the Coordinator of Students’ Affairs (COSA) at the West Africa Theological Seminary, Lagos. He retired voluntarily from active services of the Nigerian Air Force after almost two decades of meritorious service that earned him the National Service Award – Forces Service Star (FSS) and is a Priest under the auspices of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). He obtained the Master of Divinity (MDiv) and the Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies in Old and New Testaments respectively from the West Africa Theological Seminary, Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently undertaking a doctoral program (PhD Theology in Old Testament Studies) at the Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Igbein, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. His interest is in Biblical Hermeneutics and Practical Theology. His Masters theses and ongoing PhD Dissertation are basically on biblical concept and application relating to “Christian and Church Guard Security and Defense” in the contemporary world especially as it applies to Nigeria.

Prior to his pastoral and theological education, he obtained among some others; the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Administration and Local Government from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria, Higher National Diploma (HND) and the National Diploma (ND) from the Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration (NASFA), Apapa, Lagos, Advanced Diploma in Computer-Aided Secretarial Administration from the University of Lagos, Akoka, and the Basic French Language Proficiency Certificate (360 hours) from the Inter-University Centre for French Studies, Badagry, Lagos. He had obtained Specialist certifications in Communications and Electronics Systems Maintenance and Repairs from the Nigerian Air Force Technical Training Group (TTG) now Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna, Nigeria, and Security Practice and Safety Management from the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, Oshodi, Lagos.

In his leisure, he likes physical exercises and discussions on topical issues.
