Felicia Chinyere Priest (Ph.D.)
Chinyere is a passionate follower of Christ committed to seeing people of other faiths ardently worship Jesus Christ. Chinyere has excellent experience in teaching, guiding, and mentoring students in higher institutions of learning. She is a relational person, mature in dealing with students. Chinyere has spent 19 years in academia teaching, researching, and engaging in community service. Her life goal is to produce transformative men and women for the church and society. Chinyere’s core value includes prayerfulness, honesty, competence, excellence, and community. Her research interest is on the conversion to Islam within sub-Sahara Africa, witchcraft accusations, gender-based violence, and child abuse. She has published papers with international journals and authored a book on religious change. She teaches in both undergraduate and graduate program.
Chinyere is at her best in a job involving team situations, but also have the chance to concentrate alone , and have some level of both independence and collaboration in decision-making. She is confident and succeeds in handling multiple tasks simultaneously as well as unpredicted situations in everyday work life. Tasks, where she has an opportunity to solve problems, bring the best out of me.
