Udo Okugbe is a lecturer of Philosophy. She currently teaches in West Africa Theological Seminary. She has also been involved in Christian work and ministry in various capacities for over 15 years.

She received a B.A in Philosophy from the University of Calabar, Cross River State in 2001; a Master in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos in 2010; and a Master in Philosophy also from the University of Lagos in 2013.

Udo worked as an elementary school teacher for four years. She also worked in the employment of a Publishing, Advisory and Management Services Company in both the Administrative and Customer service departments in Lagos for seven years rising to the level of an Administrative Head. She has a published article, ‘You Are Your Ideas’, Presbyterian Students’ Fellowship Magazine (2012). She also has other unpublished works.

Udo has been involved with many social and faith-based organizations serving in various capacities. She was a member of the Federal Road Safety Club; Financial Secretary/Treasurer of Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES), University of Calabar; President, Presbyterian Young People Association of Nigeria, Ikorodu Parish; Financial Secretary, Lagos East Presbyterian Young People Association of Nigeria; and a two-time Clerk, Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ikorodu Parish. She also served in the Children department of the same church for over two years. In 2014, she received an ‘Excellent Service Award’ from the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ikorodu, Lagos.

Udo is married to Pastor Kingsley Okugbe and they are blessed with a son, David.
