Mrs. S. Toyin Adeniyi is a lecturer of English courses and General Studies in the Christian Education Department of West Africa Theological Seminary.  She also teaches educational courses such as Church Ministry in Education. In the same institution, she had served as a secretary in the Administrative Division of the Seminary, Academic Division, and Spiritual Formation and Practical Ministries.  She is currently the Department Head for Christian Education and General Studies and a member of the WATS’ Welfare Committee.

Mrs. Adeniyi obtained her first degree in English Language from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria and her master degree in the same discipline from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria.  She also received a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Teacher’s Institute, Kaduna in northwest Nigeria. In addition to the above qualifications, she has certificates in secretarial and computer studies.  She completed an M.Phil degree in English Language at Obafemi Awolowo University.

She is interested in researching on the language of the English Bible. In her M.Phil. thesis, she used discourse grammatical model to analyse the Book of Exodus of New International Version of the English Bible.

She is the Coordinator of Child Evangelical Unit (CEU) of the Gospel Faith Mission International, Abesan, Lagos.

Mrs. Adeniyi is married to Evangelist George Adeniyi, and the marriage is blessed with three children – Jesudunsi, Jesuloba, and Jesutofunmi.
