Dr.  Olufemi Emmanuel earned his first and second degrees from West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS), Lagos in 2005 and 2009 respectively. He stated his teaching career in WATS in August 2009. He has taught several courses in Christian Education department; but he is presently more focused on Biblical, especially Old Testament Studies. 

Administratively, he has served as Adviser to the Student Council of WATS and as coordinator in various offices including, Urban and Holistic Ministry, Student Affairs, Head of Department, Biblical and Religious Studies. He is currently coordinating the Practical/Film Ministry and serving as the Assoc. Dean of Undergraduate Studies.

He carried out his PhD thesis on ‘Amos’ Response to Social Injustice (In Amos 5:1-27) And Its Applications to the Prophetic Ministry: Christ Apostolic Church, Lagos.

He is an active member of Nigeria Association of Biblical Studies (NABIS) in which he has presented a number of conference papers. He is a regular writer in ChurchTimes, one of the foremost Christian Magazines in Nigeria today.

 He is also one of the founding executives of Christ’s Fragrance Church Incorporated and Brook of Honyx Schools in Lagos.

Olufemi and his wife, Joan, are blessed with four children; Rinnah, Cherish, Virtue and Ezra.
